For a long time it has been possible to get Karaoke tracks of the most popular Musical Theatre audition songs. But that is not always appropriate for audition candidates who will have only a pianist in their audition room. Karaoke tracks, with all the instrumention, can sound very different to a solitary piano sound. The Accompanist is a series of Piano Audition Backing Tracks designed for both the audition candidate and also for performers who prefer a more 'acoustic' sound.
Using the original tempos and keys of the songs The Accompanist endeavours to be true to the original recording and therefore easy to use for someone who has knowledge of the show recording.
The series attempts to select those songs which would appeal most to the auditionee and therefore we welcome any suggestions of songs that you might have the desire to sing in such a situation. Please contact us with your suggestions as we are building new albums all the time. Rights may not always be available to the songs requested but we will do our best to include any suggestions made.
Also on the 'Contact Us' page you can sign up to our newsletter which is only sent when a new album is being released to make our subscribers aware of the new tracks that will be available.
